1. No leakage

PE valve body and end pipe are mainly connected by welding (hot-melt connection or electro-fusion connection), so the welding and wide connection of the whole valve shell have high strength and excellent sealing performance. Compared with rubber ring joints or other mechanical joints, there is no danger of external leakage due to joint distortion; PE ball valve is directly welded to the pipeline to form an undetachable whole, without leakage points, and there is no danger of external leakage due to joint distortion.

2. Corrosion resistance

Polyethylene is an inert material, except for a few strong oxidants, it can withstand the erosion of a variety of chemical media. The soil corrosion resistance is very good, no electrochemical corrosion, no anti-corrosion layer is needed.

3. No maintenance or repair is required

The PE pipe wall is smooth, does not scale, has ultra-low friction resistance, and is an environmentally friendly product.

4. Convenient construction

The shell material of the PE ball valve is PE itself, so it is extremely convenient to connect with the PE piping system, either hot-melt butt or electro-fusion connection; PE valve is lighter than metal valves, easy to install, easy to open and close, and small operating torque. The valve is full bore, with low pressure loss.

5. High toughness

PE is a kind of high toughness material, its elongation at break generally exceeds 500%, it is very adaptable to the uneven settlement of the pipe foundation, and it is also a kind of pipe with excellent seismic performance.

6. Long lasting

The material can be used for more than long-term durability according to standards, which is determined based on the long-term hydrostatic design basis value (HDB) of the circumferential tensile strength of polyethylene pipes, which has been confirmed by international standards.
