What are PPR Plastic Ball Valves?

PPR, short for polypropylene random copolymer, is a versatile thermoplastic material known for its excellent properties, including high strength, resistance to corrosion, and thermal stability. They are key components in piping systems designed for transporting various fluids, such as water, chemicals, and gases.

Function classification:
1) Bypass valve: The broken key of the ball valve is generally opened by static water, so the bypass valve is set to be flat-pressed first, that is, both sides are filled with water;
2) Air valve: When filling with water, the float is used to remove air and close the valve automatically; when draining, it is used to replenish air and the float automatically descends;
3) Pressure relief valve: When opening and closing the valve, remove the pressure water between the valve and the sealing cover to avoid wearing the sealing cover;
4) Drain valve: discharge the sewage from the inside and bottom of the ball shell.

Characteristics
1) Wear resistance; since the valve core of the hard-sealed ball valve is made of alloy steel spray welding and the sealing ring is made of alloy steel surfacing, the hard-sealed ball valve will not cause much wear when opening and closing.
2) Good sealing performance; since the seal of the hard-sealed ball valve is manually ground, it cannot be used until the valve core and the sealing ring are completely matched. So its sealing performance is reliable.

3. Working principle

The opening and closing member (ball) is driven by the valve stem and rotates around the axis of the ball valve. It can also be used for the regulation and control of fluids.
