How to choose PVC pipes

1. Measure the wall thickness.

To see if the specified wall thickness is reached, one more point should be noted here. Some pipes are evacuated, with the wall thickness at both ends meeting the requirements, but the middle wall thickness is thinner, which does not meet the requirements for use. At the same time, the cost is reduced by evacuating. Measuring length: to see if the specified length is reached, some manufacturers reduce the price by shortening the length. According to GB/T10002.1-2006, negative deviation is not allowed.

2. Look at the gloss

Products with good gloss and oiliness are high-quality products.

3. Look at the color

The standard high-quality PVC-U pipe is light beige. If the pipe is pale, it means that the calcium powder has been added excessively. Some manufacturers have added too much miscellaneous materials and recycled materials, and the pipe made into the pipe will be black and yellow.

4. Weighing

Compare the weight of two pipes with the same caliber, wall thickness, and length. The calcium powder and impurities with the higher weight are added too much, and the material is impure and cannot meet the requirements.
