One, look at the shape.
After the PPR pipe and the pipe fittings are hot-melted, there will be glue protruding, (also known as melting tumor) the glue is round and uniform, protruding at the junction of the PPR pipe and the pipe fittings, very much like the double eyelids of a beautiful woman ___ This is what the beginning of this article said: Beautiful double eyelids, then this welded pipe fitting is almost 100% perfect: the pipe and the fitting are integrated and unbreakable!
Second, cut and check.
There are many manufacturers of PPR pipes. The materials of the pipe fittings are almost the same, but they can also be mixed. Because of the uneven quality, this requires the temperature of the fuser to be adjusted to the best (usually 260 to 280 degrees Celsius), and the melting time should also be required during operation. Changed. (Usually 5 to 8 seconds, it's better to manage the time longer)
When hot-melting many PpR pipes and fittings, in order to achieve the best effect, you can try to melt a pipe fitting. After cooling with cold water, cut it with a pipe cutter and check the welded section:
The welding profile is dense, seamless, without holes, and integrated, which is qualified!
Third, try the pressure.
The pressure of the PPR tube can be tested after 24 hours of heat melting.
There are many opinions about the pressure test of pPR tubes. The methods I tend to and practice are as follows:
Use a manual pressure tester to test the pressure to 8kg, keep it for one hour, and the pointer will not drop more than 0.05kg. The pPR pipe has no cracks and no water leakage in the pipe fittings, which means success!
