1) The ball valve is a control component in the pipeline system that can quickly cut off and connect the medium flow. During use, the valve must be fully open or fully closed, and cannot be used to adjust the flow.
2) The ball valve has internal and external threads, ferrules, and hot-melt connection. The valve body and bonnet adopt a constant temperature forging and tempering process, which greatly improves the mechanical performance and safety factor of the valve. The valve pressure test is carried out in strict accordance with the GB/T13927-1992 "General Valve Pressure Test" standard, and 100% of the tests are qualified before leaving the factory.
3) Valve installation must be carried out by professionals with relevant qualifications, and the deviation of the different axial degrees of the pipelines at both ends should not be too large, otherwise excessive pipeline installation pressure will be generated and the valve will be damaged. Wrench the hexagonal or octagonal part on the same side of the thread when installing and tightening, and should not wrench the hexagonal or octagonal part on the other end of the valve to avoid deformation of the valve.
4) Valve pipe thread accuracy and effective length strictly comply with ISO228 related standards. When installing and tightening, a wrench or pipe wrench with corresponding torque must be selected, and the effective thread length should be screwed in. Do not excessively cause pressure on the inner end surface and cause the valve to produce Deformation, damage to the sealing surface and leakage.
5) To ensure the normal use of the valve, install a filter at the inlet of the pipeline as much as possible. In order to avoid frequent pipeline pressure or temperature fluctuations and reduce the service life of the valve, corresponding preventive measures should be designed.
6) The handle of the ball valve is designed according to the valve operating environment and the corresponding torque. Do not use an enlarged force arm instead, so as to avoid excessive operating torque and damage the valve. During use, the speed of closing the valve cannot be too high, otherwise the water hammer effect of instantaneous pressure multiplication will occur.
7) The valve stem packing is polytetrafluoroethylene. If the packing is corroded and leaked, the pressure cap can be tightened to compensate the packing, and the medium pressure must be removed to replace the packing.
