Advantage of PEX Pipe
1. Outstanding hygiene performance: The inner and outer layers of the aluminum-plastic pipe are made of special polyethylene* materials, which are clean and non-toxic. The most important thing is that the middle layer of the aluminum-plastic tube is aluminum, which can not only block light, but also block oxygen. It is well known that the environment of microorganisms must be light and aerobic. The middle aluminum layer of the aluminum-plastic tube prevents the breeding of microorganisms and algae, which is beyond the reach of all-plastic tubes.
2. Excellent high and low temperature resistance: long-term use temperature is 95 degrees (long-term durability according to standards, 1MPa), maximum use temperature is 110 degrees, and the thermal expansion coefficient of aluminum-plastic pipe is small. It is equivalent to the thermal expansion coefficient of aluminum, only one-sixth of the full plastic tube. When subjected to temperature changes, the amount of deformation is small, and the aluminum-plastic pipe is a flexible coil. The pipeline itself can absorb a certain amount of deformation without causing thermal expansion and deformation of the pipeline system. The high and low temperature resistance of all plastic pipes is relatively poor. The long-term use temperature of PPR is only 70 degrees (long-term durability according to standards, IMPa), and the maximum use temperature is 95 degrees. At the same time, the PPR pipeline has a large expansion coefficient, and when the external water temperature (cold and hot water) changes, there will be a large amount of original deformation.
3. Long service life: PE plastic used in aluminum-plastic composite pipe, molecular chain structure (-CH2-CH2-) is relatively stable among plastics, and since the middle aluminum layer of the aluminum-plastic pipe separates the inner and outer layers, the outer plastic is allowed to be added A stabilizer that can resist light and oxygen aging without affecting the sanitation of the inner layer in contact with water, thereby enhancing its anti-aging performance.
